Qualified Staff

Our staff is what makes our office unique. You’ll notice the difference on your first visit. In addition to friendly, efficient service, you’ll receive caring personal support during every phase of your treatment. Every member of our surgical staff is an experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistant, who assists in administration of I.V. sedation and surgery. We also have a registered nurse (RN) to provide pre and post operative patient care. All our staff members are knowledgeable personnel who are well-versed in healthcare procedures and are CPR certified.

Meet the staff

The surgical staff at North County Oral & Facial Surgery Center is comprised of Registered Dental Assistants, Registered Nurses & Medical Assistants. Our assistants’ training involves completion of an accredited course of study including dental science, chairside procedures, radiology and externship courses. Our nurses provide direct patient care, pre operative, intra operative and recovery therapy, and have over 20 years of clinical experience specifically in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery. All our surgical staff are Certified Oral Surgery Assistants (COSA) who have completed additional training through the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons including patient history & physical evaluation, monitoring under office anesthesia, EKG interpretation, and emergency preparation. Our surgical staff continually maintains certification through continuing education study.

The administrative staff is represented with over 25 years of experience in front office procedures. Our patient coordinators will assist you with scheduling choices and our financial coordinator will help with understanding the fees for your procedure, as well as interpreting your specific insurance coverage. We communicate our billing policies to all patients prior to treatment, and respond to patient questions in a timely and courteous manner. Their primary goal is to make you feel comfortable about your experience in our office. We maintain the highest level of patient privacy and patient rights while working hard to go beyond the expectations of our patients’ needs.

The implant treatment coordinators are your personal contact throughout your entire implant treatment process. From scheduling your initial consult appointment to your final check up, our implant treatment coordinators will assure all aspects of your implant procedures are well taken care of. We work closely with your general dentist during this process to provide you with the best possible result. Treatment plan descriptions, insurance inquiries regarding coverage and financial arrangements are all provided by your implant treatment coordinator. Their experience and knowledge of the dental implant process is what sets them apart.
